How to use Salt Spray Test Chamber?
I. Operation specification:
1. Plug in the power plug and insert the 8mm air pipe into the air compressor.
2. Turn on the power switch and pay attention to the "CHAMBER WATER SHORTAGE," "LACK BRINE", and "PRESSURE WATER SHORAGE" indication lights on the control panel. Please ensure that the experiment is carried out without water shortage.
3. If the "CHAMBER WATER SHORTAGE" light is on, please add tap water into the working chamber. Cover the heating pipe with water. Just add tap water until the indicator light is off.
4. If the "PRESSURE WATER SHORAGE" light is on, it indicates the pressure barrel water shortage. The user can open the red ball valve at the back and add water manually. (Tap water is ok) Remember to close the ball valve after adding water.
5. If the "LACK BRINE" light is on, we can make the brine by adding the solution of 500g with pure water, stirring well, and adding from the saltwater inlet.
6. Add enough water to the water seal slot until the acrylic lid is flooded.
7. After all the added water, we can power on the salt spray test chamber. Put the samples inside, then close the lid to start the test. We can see the working chamber temperature and pressure barrel temperature on the control panel. (water chamber 35℃ and pressure barrel 47℃ is the factory setting value.) The user can set the temperature himself.
8. When we put the sample inside, the user can open the spray and look at the pressure value on the control panel. The input air pressure is 2KG / cm2. Please ensure the pressure is no more than 1 kg/cm2, or the pipe will explode.
9. Set the testing time by the timer. The experiment will stop automatically after arrival time.
II. Maintenance of Salt Spray Test Chamber:
1. We must inspect the air adjustment valves regularly, and we must check all of them if they have not been used for a long time.
2. Don't hesitate to contact the manufacturer if any part of the control panel needs to be fixed. We can not change ourselves.
3. We should change the heating water after using one month.
4. It is better to change the brine if not used for one week in case of affecting the test quality.
5. If the test interval is too long, we recommend cleaning the inner test chamber and draining all the water:
Open the back valve to drain the test chamber water.
Pull up the middle leather plug to drain the lid slot water.
Open the bottom value to drain the pressure barrel.
6. We must clean the spray nozzle periodically. We recommend changing the spray nozzle every 2000 hours of use.
