After calibration,the barometer can display the scale itself,no need for any battery.
Generally the barometer is calibrated in the factory under 400m above sea level.After getting the product, the location altitude may be change,so the user can do calibration by the following steps:
1. First, check the local atmospheric pressure at the local meteorological station or network, airport, or public building calibrated barometer, or use an existing barometer as the reference standard.
2. Carefully adjust the slotted screw on the back of the barometer until the pointer indicates the actual barometric pressure  in the area. Do not adjust the barometer movement too much. When the adjustment is complete, gently tap the glass surface of the barometer by hand until the pointer Accurately indicate the actual pressure value.
3. The adjustment screw can not be over-adjusted. If the screw is tightened in one direction, the end of the adjustment range has been reached.

P.S:
Many customers do not understand, mistakenly believe that the white pointer is the degree of air pressure，In fact, the white pointer is just a contrast pointer,Because the pressure change is very small.
For example, the white pointer is manually adjusted to the same position as the black color, so you can tell whether or not the air pressure is higher or lower tomorrow.The white pointer is manual. It does not change itself.
If the location is higher than 400m, the barometric pressure display will always be low and the weather forecast function will not work.
