RFQs about using the test paper:

1.What will happen if PH value of the tested liquid is about 6?
The PH test paper itself is yellow color, if PH value of the tested liquid is about 6,there will be a little change to the test paper, it usually occurs in the test of cosmetics, if the color has changed so much, the cosmetics will do harm to our skins.

Can we use the general PH test paper to test water quality in our daily life?
Actually there is little difference, so we recommend to use precise PH test paper.

What should be paid attention in using PH test paper?
(1).Do not put the test paper directly into the sample
(2).Do not dilute the sample liquid by water.
(3).The PH test paper can not be used for testing oily sample, the PH is used to describe the concentration of hydrogen ions.
(4).PH test paper cannot be used to determine PH value of solid, the PH test paper will not change color if touched with solid.
(5).PH value of solution with strong oxidation, corrosion or reduction is not accurate. For example, Concentrated sulfuric acid will corrode the test paper and make it black. Concentrated nitric acid, nitrite, etc. can bleach the test paper and make it white. These substances cannot be measured by the PH test paper.
